About
For more than ten years I’ve helped businesses answer one question: where will the next customer come from? Then I build the website, search presence, ads and follow-up that answer it.
In 2022 I co-founded Over the Fold with Milfi Camarena, a friend since our teenage years. It’s a website-first digital marketing studio for service businesses across New Jersey & New York City: websites, SEO, AI search, paid ads and CRM, built as one system and measured in leads, not likes.
AI can put a website together in an afternoon. What it can’t do is know your market, choose the right channels, or tell you which dollar is actually working. That takes experience, and it’s the part I love. I’ve done it for kitchen designers, clinics, insurance firms, nonprofits and airport service companies.
Find where the leads, and the money, are leaking today.
Pick the channels that fit the business and the numbers we’ll watch.
Website, search, ads and follow-up, built as one system.
Measure every month and double down on what pays.
A full-stack designer and marketer handles the whole path from stranger to customer, not just one piece of it: the strategy, the brand and website, SEO and AI search visibility, paid ads, and the CRM and automations that follow up with every lead. Because it is one person thinking across all of it, the parts are built to work together and measured against one goal: revenue.
A marketing system is the connected set of channels, pages and follow-up that turns strangers into customers in a repeatable way: how people find you (search, maps, AI answers, ads, referrals), what convinces them (website, reviews, offer) and what happens after they reach out (instant replies, follow-up, booking), all tracked so you know what each part produces.
AI can generate a decent-looking website in minutes. What it cannot do is know your market, decide what the page must say to win a skeptical buyer, or connect the site to search, ads and follow-up. The website is the easy part now; the strategy and the system around it are what make it pay.
AEO, answer engine optimization, is making your business the one AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews name and cite. More buyers now ask AI for recommendations before they search, so being clearly described, verifiable and quotable online is becoming as important as ranking in Google.
Mostly service businesses and founders in New Jersey, New York City and the surrounding area, including kitchen and bath designers, remodelers, healthcare and therapy practices, insurance and professional services firms, nonprofits and product brands. Strategy, websites and CRM work happen remotely, so location is rarely a limit.
Send me a note through the form on this page or email dioni@overthefold.com. The first conversation is about your business, not a pitch: where your leads come from today, where they are leaking, and what I would fix first.
